Nie wiem czy bylo to juz walkowane ale znalazlem cos takiego:
· What is BFTV?
BFTV is a new tool to show battlefield-games live. His big brother is known as HLTV and was created for the game “Half-Life”. Now we´re trying to develop it for Battlefield 1942. Unfortunately we´re not supported by EA/Dice, so the tool won´t show ingame graphics, but use a kind of 2D general map which shows the battlefield from above with some delay.
· How BFTV works?
You have to run a "BFTV Proxy" on the Gameserver who collects all kinds of important data during the game. Those stats are evaluated and send deferred to possible Clients, which connected themselves with the Proxy. The Clients will then show the action on the battlefield on a 2D map.
· Why is it delayed?
It´s important for us, that the tool will only be used for entertainment and information, so nobody can use it to take advantage. That´s why we decided, to send it delayed, just like in HLTV.
· Which OS does the Proxy need?
At the moment we plan a proxy for linux and windows.
· Which OS does the Client need?
It´s only planned for windows, but we might consider a webclient for homepages.
· What´s the release-date for BFTV?
It´s done, when its done .. So far we can´t tell you how long we need and we propably will have a closed betatest to guarantee an error free version before we release it.
· Can BFTV record demos?
Yes of course.
· How many players does BFTV show?
Unlimited players can be shown, but so far we couldn´t test it with 32 players or more.
· How many players can watch games with BFTV?
We don´t have exact numbers yet, and we try to use ideas of the HLTV so that the clients mutually exchange the data. That would save servertraffic and pave the way for a relative big network. For updated news regularly check bftools.de!
