from yesterday i play bc2 like i have never played it before
first i wanna share some info with u
when i bought this game the default settings for my laptop spec's was all medium and texture = high AA x4 bloom on Hbao on
but when i tried to start the game on this default setting i found that my fps avg 30 thats so unplayable for me but i asked myself this question why the game recommended this settings for my laptop
!! so i turned everything off and changed everything to lower setting i got around 50-60 fps i was happy with that fps but not happy with that graphics
back to the point of this post after u know the story now u will know what happened yesterday
i was here on forum posting in some1 thread (cant remember what thread it was :teeth: ) and i found some1 talking about the huge drop on fps is caused by sound quality and i followed this link he gave on thread i dunno where is that link now too
but the huge fps drop fix was like that
Turning ur game to DX9 go to
my documents>bfbc2>settings.ini>dxversion=9
turning renderaheadlimit to 0 go to
my documents>bfbc2>settings.ini>renderaheadlimit=0
now save and exit
next step which really made the
BIG difference
turn ur sound to 16bit-44hz
if u wanna do that go to
control panel > sound >click in your audio current output>advanced> choose first option 16bit-44hz
after that open ur game and change the sound from hi-fi to small speakers
when u finish doing this u will see this game as u never seen b4
now i play all setting on high bloom hbao on shadows high texture high everything high and guess what my fps is 80-110 avg of 90
ow i forgot to tell u aslo
if ur using ati card so on ur catalyst control center turn off ( disable) catalyst AI and change mipmap details level to high quality
that will make ur game fps as perfect as u will never imagine i got extra 50-60 fps to my game test it by urself and tell me the results
